Fury
of Faith Ministries was birthed by revelation from God; through
a phrase in
a book being read by Darrel
Mason.
The book was written by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland on the life of John
Lake.
This reference was to the “fury of faith” rising up within John
Lake
to receive from God, the power of God to heal and be healed of physical
ailments and life threatening diseases.
This was in 2001 and slowly the ministry began to take shape.
In 2002, the ministry was started by ministering to the homeless in
Albuquerque, New
Mexico.
Later that year Darrel began ministering to the men in seven different
pods in
the local jail. Darrel
also ministered in churches and tent
revivals.
In
2003, the ministry began to grow
with the addition of new members seeking
to minister at the jail, prisons, and homeless shelter. The group
ministered together going to the jails, streets, prisons and rescue
mission.
Darrel
has been on Son Broadcasting Network
program, "God Answers Prayer", and
several radio programs.
In
2004, Darrel published The Discipleship of a Christian Journey
through Trafford
Publishing Company.
This year Darrel
appeared on Trinity Broadcasting Network program, "Praise the
Lord".
In
2006, the door to a International ministry was opened when Darrel traveled
to the Philippine Islands to hold Prophetic Conferences and preach the
Word of God.
In 2007; Kevin and Janet Fairbrother
along with Darrel Mason felt
the need and call of God to incorporate and seek 501
(c) (3) status as a
tax exempt ministry. The group registered the ministry February
3, 2007.
In
2008, the door was opened for a second trip to evangelize and hold
Prophetic conferences in Cavite City, Dumaguette City, and Victoria,
Oriental Mindoro.
